Husqvarna How To Use A Chainsaw DVD
Husqvarna have released a DVD all about how to use a petrol chainsaw. With something as dangerous as a chainsaw it is good to keep as a refresher.
In the DVD, Husqvarna has gathered a number of tips from professional users. Two-time World Champion Lars Strandell demonstrates the right techniques and equipment. The disk shows what sort of protective equipment you should use, and how to operate a chainsaw safely.
It discusses the functions of various parts of the saw and gives advice on how to best maintain it. The section on how to fell trees explains terms like open directional notch, hinge and plunge cut. With a little practice anyone can fell a tree with virtually the same precision as a professional.
The final section describes how to de-limb and crosscut without the saw kicking back or getting stuck
